The national epic of Finland

Adam Korpak, born 1936, Krakow, Poland. Study in Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, /Industrial Design and Architecture/ 1968 - 1975 lecturer in Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.1974– came to Finland to work as an architect. 1977 - left office and set up as freelance graphic artist. 1986 - Regular contributor of illustration to biggest Finnish newspaper - Helsigin Sanomat. During this time has also worked as an illustrator to almost all Finnish publishers and newspapers. Exhibitions: Drawings, paintings and graphic design in Finland, and abroad. Sweden, Norway, Holland, Italy Switzerland, Poland, Japan, USA. 2002 – Chosen as one of 15th Best Cartoonists of the EU in competition in Forte dei Marmi, Italy. 2005 Special price, Biennale of Humor Tolentino Italy. 2007. Grand Prix Satyrykon Legnica 2007 Poland. 2007 price on satirical competition in Italy Gallarate. Publication: Adam Korpak Remanent, Atena 2004. International membership: ICOGRADA, Finnish Graphic Associations, Kuvittaja ry, Grafia ry. Polish Association of Artist ZPAP.
