                               Grupa utworzona została w roku 2000, a jej dyrektorem 

                               artystycznym/choreografem jest Dan Safer. Entuzjastycznie przyjęty 

                               przez krytykę zespół stworzył ponad 10 oryginalnych produkcji. Grupa 

                               ma swoją siedzibę w Nowym Jorku, a swoje spektakle wystawia 

                               na scenach międzynarodowych. Ich praca została określona jako 

                               znakomita( The New Yorker) oraz taka, która przypomina pierwsze 

                               występy rockowo – punkowe z lat 80-ych. Członkowie są naturalni 

                               i wyraziści. Wprowadzenie przez grupę elementów niepewności, 

                               fizyczna żywotność artystów oraz pomieszanie gatunków powoduje, 

                               że grupa ta powinna być porównana do twórczości Andre Serban, 

                               Janem Fabre, Franka Castorfa oraz Davida Bowiego (Performing 

                               Arts Journal). Spektakl Dancing vs. The Rat Experiment, którego 

                               premiera odbyła się w La MaMa zdobył nagrodę NYIT, a tournee 

                               odbyło się w Rumunii zeszłej jesieni.

                               Witness Relocation formed in 2000 and is led by director/choreographer 

                               Dan Safer. The critically acclaimed company has created over ten

                               original productions (including last season’s Vicious Dogs on Premises 

                               at the Ontological and, just this past January, The Blue Bird), 

                               engaged in a two year residency at the renowned Patravadi Theatre 

                               in Bangkok, Thailand, and performed in theaters, nightclubs, rock videos, 

                               and on a Thai TV Soap Opera. They are based in New York City, and 

                               work internationally. Their work has been described as, “magnificent” 

                               (The New Yorker) and, “like going to your first punk rock show in the 1980’s. 

                              It was raw, it was racy. The company has been compared to Pina Bausch, 

                              Richard Foreman, and the Wooster Group, but Witness Relocation’s 

                             mobilization of the element of uncertainty, the sheer physical vitality of 

                             the performers, and the mixture of genres puts them more in line with

                             Andre Serban, Jan Fabre, Frank Castorf and David Bowie.” (Performing 

                             Arts Journal). The company’s NYIT-award winning show Dancing Vs. 

                            the Rat Experiment, which premiered at La MaMa, toured to Romania last  fall.
